International Friendship Association
The International Friendship Association (IFA) is a group of volunteers from Queen’s University Christian Union and local churches who organise social events for international students. IFA provides the opportunity to meet local people and make friends with other international students.
This semester’s program can be seen on the left of this page. For more details about each event click on the link or email the organiser. In addition to this program IFA also organise an English Conversation Club and a group for the families of international students.
IFA English Conversation Club
Do you want to make friends, practice your English and meet locals? The IFA English Conversation Club meets on Thursday evening 7:30-9:00pm in the Great Victoria Street Baptist Church halls on the corner of Great Victoria Street and Hope Street. For more information see our home page.

Come and enjoy a free Northern Irish meal, and make some local friends.

An evening of live Jazz music, in a Cafe environment. Come along and make some new friends.

Saturday 13th February
Experience an traditional Irish town and travel back in time to see how people used to live. Meet: QUB Elms Reception - 10:30am.

Sports Night

St Patrick’s Night Ceilidh
Come and enjoy traditional Irish dancing and discover the story of St Patrick. It’s a university holiday so you will have the day off. Light refreshments provided.
