We hope to see you at our Free Welcome Meal on Wednesday evening 7pm. A free dinner and the opportunity to meet friendly locals.

Trip to the Ulster Folk Museum & Ikea

(Sat 29th Jan)


Step back in time and uncover living history from 100 years ago.  Discover town and country side with cottages, farms, schools and shops.    You will also have the option of being taken to Ikea on your way home to pick up anything you may need for your room (if you go to ikea you will need to return on public transport).  Cost £5 including transport and entrance, please bring your own packed lunch.  Buy your ticket at our welcome meal or the QUB Ceili.

Taster Evenings...

Friends International helps thousands of international students like you each year. We’ve arranged some special events to help settle into life in Belfast & make new friends...

Tuesday 1st February 8-10pm


Join us for a Chocolate fondue night at iCafe our weekly cafe for international students.  It is a great place to meet new friends, local and international. 

Friday 10th February 7:15-9:15pm


Join us for informal Sports at the Morton Community Centre. Come & enjoy badminton, table tennis, volleyball, food and time to chat with local people. 

Thursday 3rd February 7:30-9pm


Join us at iTalk to practice your spoken English with locals. We meet in the Church halls on Hope street near the Europa bus station.
