All the social activities we run for international students are organised by Christians from local churches but you do not have to be a Christian to come along - everyone is welcome!

Weekly Activities

iCafe @ the rock

iCafe is a weekly cafe for international students, organized by the Christian Union & the Port Stewart Baptist Church. It’s a great place for international students to meet new friends from all over the world.  Every week we have time to get to know each other, enjoy some snacks and every second week we host a special event.
E.g. Irish Night, Pudding Party, African night, Culture Shock Night, Games Night. For more information & this term’s program see the iCafe page

Link up with a local family

'International Friends' is a group of local Christians who help to link international students in Coleraine with local families.  'International Friends' provide an ideal opportunity for international students to meet local people outside the University, to learn about Northern Irish family life and culture, and to make
new friends.  'International Friends' also organise local walks and local 'ceilidhs' (Irish set dancing evenings).  Information about 'International Friends' is given during the Coleraine orientation program at the beginning of each semester. You can also sign up on their website
